New Travel Authorization Request and Booking Tool go-live on May 13!

May 6, 2024

University of Arizona Financial Services

The new Travel Authorization Request and Booking Tool will officially launch on May 13, 2024!

The new travel system will replace the current PDF/Adobe Sign form and provide traveler support for booking travel both online and with a travel agent for more complex business travel. The current travel authorization form will be decommissioned on May 31, 2024. Any enroute forms will be accepted through June 7, 2024, and FY24 blanket travel authorizations will be honored through June 30, 2024. The new software contains a convenient copy feature, so the use of blanket travel authorizations will also be discontinued. The new Travel Authorization Request and Booking Tool are powered by SAP Concur and supported through the relationship with Anthony Travel Agency.

New information, learning materials and updated resources
Important information on the new travel process and key features of each part is now available on the Business Offices News section of the Financial Services website.

New training materials are now available in EDGE Learning to assist business offices through this transition. The travel section of the Financial Services website will be updated shortly before launch with revised information and FAQs to provide a new and refreshed overview of the travel process, including a comprehensive approach to a university business trip.

We encourage business officers and travelers to review the new learning materials and website content before the launch date. All three of these resources will play a vital role in the transition to the new travel system.
