The Arizona Health Sciences Centers works with affiliated hospitals and other health-care facilities throughout Arizona to care for patients statewide. Patients benefit from the perspective of many physicians, including resident-physicians and fellows, who team up with faculty members to provide optimal health care in a variety of settings. In addition, patients residing in rural and geographically isolated areas benefit from advanced technologies at the College of Medicine. Through the Arizona Telemedicine Program, the College brings specialists to remote locations, providing medical support and consultation with health-care practitioners via telemedicine.
